Love God. Love People. Share Jesus. Make Disciples.
Due to the possibility of rain Sunday 8/9 morning, we want you to be prepared in case
we have to move the outdoor 9am worship service to inside.
If it is raining at 9am, we will worship in the fellowship hall while observing our social distancing guidelines set forth here: mbcedenton.com/coronavirusupdate . Please bring your own mask, or use one that we will have available as you enter.
We will still have our normal 11am indoor service and broadcast at 11am on Facebook Live.
Who We Are
The Macedonia community is bordered by the Chowan River to the west and the town of Edenton to the south. Macedonia Baptist Church has been worshiping God and serving this community since 1850. We are affiliated with the Chowan Baptist Association, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Southern Baptist Convention. You can make connections with each of these on our Links Page.
It is the great desire of MBC that every man, woman, boy, and girl have an opportunity to hear the story of Jesus. We believe that he is hope for the despairing, help for the forsaken, healing for the broken, and salvation for the world.
MBC is in essential agreement with those beliefs common among Southern Baptists. These beliefs are expressed in a document called The Baptist Faith and Message. The latest edition of that document can be found at the following link: Baptist Faith and Message
