Love God. Love People. Share Jesus. Make Disciples.
Who We Are
The Macedonia community is bordered by the Chowan River to the west and the town of Edenton to the south. Macedonia Baptist Church has been worshiping God and serving this community since 1850. We are affiliated with the Chowan Baptist Association, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Southern Baptist Convention. You can make connections with each of these on our Links Page.
It is the great desire of MBC that every man, woman, boy, and girl have an opportunity to hear the story of Jesus. We believe that he is hope for the despairing, help for the forsaken, healing for the broken, and salvation for the world.
MBC is in essential agreement with those beliefs common among Southern Baptists. These beliefs are expressed in a document called The Baptist Faith and Message. The latest edition of that document can be found at the following link: Baptist Faith and Message

1-800 RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767)
Our men's ministry needs projects for our Saturdays of service. If you or someone you know needs some help with yard work, pressure-washing, etc, please call the church office and let us know. We'll call back to confirm if/when we would be able to do the projects. This also applies to people outside of the church, as we would also like this to be an opportunity to serve our community, particularly those that are unchurched. Thank you!
